Lance Armstrong likely will have Boston Marathon time vacated |

The Lance Armstrong doping scandal has reached all the way back to the 2008 Boston Marathon — specifically, place No. 497. According to executive director of the Boston Athletic Association Tom Grilk, it’s likely that Armstrong’s 2008 finish in the Marathon will join his seven Tour De France titles on a growing list of vacated results.

Greenville gears up for the 10th edition of the Goodwill Mud Run |

On Saturday, September 29th, the Goodwill Mud Run (presented by St. Francis Sports Medicine) will be held at the South Carolina Technology and Aviation Center (formerly the Donaldson Center). The event is in its eighth year and 10th edition. Appeal for the event is so high that Saturday’s race will follow an April event where 904 teams partook in the course.
